    Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Mt. Hope church for Mrs. Olvie B. Kline, age 45, who died at Woodlawn hospital, Rochester, Saturday afternoon.

    Rev. Walter A. Adams of Royal Center, had charge of the services and burial was at the Washington Cemetery

    Mrs. Kline had been ill since last Novemebr.

    She was born in Green township, Marshall county, and had lived her entire life in this community.

    Surviving are the husban Clarence C. Kline; three daughters, Virginia, Laura, Louise, and Brenda; one son, Charles all at home; three sisters, Mrs. J. C. Zerbe of South Bend, and Mrs. Jasper Helsel and Mrs. John Stultz, both of Plymouth; four brothers William Lake of Plymouth, Orvin Lake of Argos, and Arnold and Milburn Lake, both of South Bend. - 26 Aug 1942 - CItizen

      Virginia Kline Bullock, age 88, of Plymouth, Indiana, passed away at 4:55 p.m., on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at Miller's Merry Manor, in Plymouth.

      Virginia was born on July 12, 1923, in Culver, Indiana, to Clarence and Olive (Lake) Kline.

      Virginia was married to Paul Bullock. Paul passed away on February 1, 2005.

      Virginia is survived by her sister, Brenda (Bob) Wynn of Culver and her brother, Charles (Donna) Kline of South Bend, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul T. Bullock and her sister, Laura Gunder.

      Van Gilder Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. According to Virginia's wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation.

      PLYMOUTH - Laura Louise Gunder, 78, of 600 West Oakhill Ave., died following a three-year illness at 5:39 a.m. Wednesday in Miller's Merry Manor, Plymouth.

      She was born Oct. 15, 1929, to Clarence C. and Olive (Lake) Kline in Culver, Im, 4 and had lived in Marshall County all of her life.

      On May 20, 1947, she married Richard L. Gunder, who preceded her in death on July 15, 2003.

      She was a homemaker and worked as a florist for Andelohr Florist in Culver and Flowers by Stephen in South Bend.

      She played the piano for the Culver Military Academy fine arts department during the 1970s. She was the secretary of the Maxinkuckee Yacht Club in Culver during the 1960s. She made many quilts and donated them to babies with AIDS and knitted many hats for needy children of Union Township and The Neighborhood Center in Plymouth. She attended Emmanuel United Methodist Church of Culver and was a graduate of Culver High School, class of 1947.

      Survivors include her daughter, Valerie (Dane) Avery of Dallas, GA; sons, Craig (Martha) Gunder of Red Lion, PA, and Todd (Cassie) Gunder of Culver; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles (Donna) Kline of South Bend; and sisters, Virginia Bullock of Plymouth and Brenda (Bob) Wynn of Culver.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard, a daughter, Andrea Kay Gunder, and by two great-grandchildren.

      A private family service will be held. Burial will take place at a later date in Culver Masonic Cemetery, Culver.

          On November 23, 1985 in Mishawaka, IN, she married Charles C. Kline Sr.

          Mrs. Kline survived by her husband, Charles C. Kline Sr.; sons, Steve (Carol) Kilgore and Scott (Michelle) Kilgore; stepchildren, Milinda Liedtky, Charlene Smith and Charles C. Kline Jr.; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sister, Shirley Joann Forcier and two brothers, Ivan P. Tuggle Jr. and Gary G. Tuggle.

      She married Clarence C. KLINE on July 10, 1943. He died July 5, 1986.

      A homemaker, she lived in Culver for 91 years, was a member of the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Mt. Hope United Methodist Women.

      She is survived by four daughters Josephine WINROTTE, South Bend, Mrs. Stephen (Betty) FISK, Palm Springs, Fla., Mrs. David (Treva) SMITH, Argos, Mrs. Walter (Eva) HOLDERREAD, Walkerton: one son Harold FLORA, Colorado Springs, Colo.; three stepdaughters Mrs. Paul (Virginia) BULLOCK, Hudson, Fla., Mrs, Richard (Laura) GUNDER, Culver, Mrs. Bobby (Brenda) WYNN, Culver; one stepson, Charles KLINE, South Bend; 29 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Dora KAWECKI, Lubbock Texas.

      She was preceded in death by one daughter Helen HANNABACK, one son Robert FLORA, one daughter-inlaw Ethel FLORA, three greatgrandchildren, five sisters and four brothers.

      Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at

      the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark A. KLINE officiating. Burial vall be in the Culver Masonic Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Bonine Funeral Home, 104 Lakeshore Dr., Culver.

      Memorials may be made to the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church or to the Culver-Union Township Emergency Medical Service.
