Oshkosh, WI/Calumet City, IL Steve L. Domiter, 74, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away Monday evening, February 19, 2001 at his home with his family.

He was born July 3, 1926 in the Village of Dixmoor, IL, the son of the late Andrew and Mary Domiter. He married Doris Mary Kanneman Nov. 30, 1963 in Wautoma, WI.

They lived in Calumet City, IL, where he was employed by Wyman-Gordon of Harvey, IL, for 44 years.

He retired in 1987 and spent the remaining years at his cottage in Culver, IN, and was an avid fisherman.

He relocated to Oshkosh in 1999. He is survived by his wife: Doris Mary Domiter; son, Richard Andrew (Tracey) Domiter, and only grandson: Steven James Dominter, all of Oshkosh; daughter, Sheila Rae Domiter of Oshkosh; three sisters: Anne Fejes of Urbana, IL, Marie (Jim) Splitek of Midlothian, IL and Marge Gbur of Oaklawn, IL; one brother: John Domiter of Chicago Heights, IL; adopted sister: Mary Ann (Alex) Ustian of Lansing, IL; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by brother, Joe Domiter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 23, 2001 at 12 Noon in St. Ralphael's Catholic Church, in Wisconsin, with Rev. Daniel Felton officiating.

Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
