Joseph Arthur Kemple, 82, of Culver , IN, died at 5:10PM on Sunday, April 30, 2006, at Bremen Health Care Center.

Art was born on February 11, 1924, to Homer and Mary (Pope) Kemple at Culver , IN. He was married on February 11, 1948, at Culver , IN, to Susanna E. Woodward. She survives.

He is also survived by his loving daughters: Connie Jo Kemple of Culver , IN, Patty A. Kemple of Canyon Country, CA, Judy A. Kemple and Deborah G. Kemple of Los Angeles, CA, and Nancy S. Harper of Lake Tahoe, CA; sisters: Marjorie Ann Kemple and Mary Louise Kreig of Culver , IN; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, May 3, 2006, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00PM EST, at the Bonine-Odom Funeral Home in Culver , Indiana with a Lions Club memorial service at 7:15 PM. Rev. Robin Keating will officiate services on Thursday, May 4, 2006, at 10:00 AM at the Grace United Church of Christ in Culver , IN with visitation 1 hour before service. Interment will follow at Culver Masonic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association.

He is survived by his wife, Susanna E. Kemple of Culver ; daughters: Connie J. Kemple of Culver , Judy A. Kemple of Los Angeles, Calif., Nancy S. Harper of Lake Tahoe, Calif. and Deborah G. Kemple of Los Angeles, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Patty A. Kemple of Canyon Country, Calif.; and sisters: Marjorie Ann Kemple and Mary Louise Kreig, both of Culver .

Visitation is Wednesday, May 3 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bonine-Odom Funeral Home, Culver , and one hour prior to services at the church Thursday. A Lion's Club service will be held at 7:15 p.m.

Funeral services are Thursday, May 4 at 10 a.m. at Grace United Church of Christ, Culver . Burial will be in the Culver Masonic Cemetery.
