1939 - six acres of land on the west shore of the Lake Makinckuckee have been improved by Harry Medbourn who is offering the area for sale as a hotel site

1976 - The Pennsylvania Railroad track was abandoned and lot owners on South Street and the west side of the lake purchased the right-of-way between their property and the lake.

The Maxinkuckee West Side Property Owners, Inc. was formed to procure and buy up the railroad prperty along the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee from Plymouth St. to the end of South Street ending at West Shore. Dr.

2105, Aprii 18 - Auction bill reads: For Dismantlement of Recently Rehabbed home of Prestigious Lake Maxinkuckee.... states house was built in 1950 and rehabbed in 2008. Auction was held on this date and all items are to be removed within 10 days - 28 April. This means another home in Culver /Lake Maxinkuckee is doomed for the demolishing ball.
