Services for Mrs. Lillian Brigel, 86, of 5703 Main St., Lisle, will be held at 11 a.m. today in the chapel at 4920 Main St., Downers Grove.

Mrs. Brigel, who died Thursday, was the widow of George F. Sr., an Electrical Engineer for Commonwealth Edison Company for 40 years before his death in 1963.

Surviving are two son, George F. Jr. and Raymond; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Anderson; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers. - The Chicago Tribune June 1, 1968

George F. Brigel Jr., 81, of 22W301 71st st., owner-operator of Shala Farms and breeder of Arabian horse, died Friday, April 22, 1988, in Edward Hospital.

He was born April 4, 1904, in Chicago.

Mr. Brigel, a Naperville resident for 31 years, was a member of the Naperville Saddle Club, and served on the DuPage County Zoning Board for the past 10 years.

He was a member of Euclid Lodge 65 A F & A M, and the Shriners Medinah Temple.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Paula (Mrs. Robert) Nesbitt of Warrenville and Lynne (Mrs. Rick) Paver of Big Rock; three sons, Ronald of Aurora, Gary of Naperville and Craig (and wife Debbie) of Lisle.

Also surviving are three grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond of Palos Heights. Mr. Brigel was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth B. Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., today, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donald Limmer officiating.

Interment will take place in Naperville Cemetery. he Naperville Sun April 28, 1988

Raymond was an avid Reader & Bridge Player also serving on the board of the Palos Heights Library.
