Memorial sevices for Eugene L. Bhmer, 83, Indianapolis, retired public
information officer for the Indiana State Highway COmmisson, will be at
11 a.m. Saturay in Flanner & Buchanan Broad RIplle Mortuary with calling
from 10 a.m.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.n. Saturday in Mount Hope Cemetery,
Logansport.
He died Tuesday.
Mr. Behmer was a publice information officer 19 years for the state
highway commission, retiring in 1976.
He also served with the Legao Committee of Indiana Railroads and the
Assicuated Railways of Indiana.
An Army veteran of World War II, he served in the Army Reserves during
the Korean War.
Mr Behmer was a 1933 graduate of Indiana University, where he was the
manger of the basketball team.
He was a 50-year member of the Columbia Club and was baned a Sagamore of
the Wasbash in 1975 by then Gove Otis R. Bown.
Survivors: wife Gladys H. Martin Behmer; sister Helen Batts.
Indianapolis - Services for former Logansport resident Eugene L. Behmer, 83,
Indianapolis, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Flanner and Buchanan Mortuary,
Broad Ripple.
Mr. Behmer died Tuesday in Americana Healthcare.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

She died Saturday in Manor Care, Indianapolis.
The Rev. DOnald Ruhl will officiate at the sevices. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
