State Exchange Banks Continue Amazing Growth

Remodeling Nearly Finished At Argos

Mr. W. O. Osborn, President of The State Exchange Bank, of Culver , and Argos, and Farmers State Bank, of LaPaz, Ind., reports that the statement of both banks as of June 29, 1963, shows an increase over the corresponding period a year ago to be $626,416.36.

Mr. Osborn reported that all deposits of both banks have shown substantial increases over a year ago. The combined statement shows an invested capital of better than $ 2,200,000.00, which is the largest capital of any bank in this section of the country operating in towns the size of Culver , Argos and LaPaz.

The President further reported that their affiliate company, State Exchange Finance Company, has had an increase of more than 5213,500.00 over the same period of a year ago.

It was the opinion of the Officers of the bank that with the start they have had for the year 1963, this will be the banner year for the three banks and finance company.

The Officers of the bank reported that they were nearly completed with the improvements of the bank at Argos, which will give the bank at Argos more than twice as much lobby, more office space, and an Assembly Room in the basement, all air-conditioned, so that the same services that are given at Culver and LaPaz can be given at Argos.

It was also reported that the bank has constructed a large parking lot at Argos, and was now completing a most modern drive-in window for the accomodation of all its customers, which will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the evening.

The Officers and Directors of the bank pledge their continued interest in all their customers, and want to extend their f ull appreciation for all of their loyal employees and the many people who have seen fit to trust them with their financial affairs.
