Charles was born in 1938 in Emporia, Kansas.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Faye Faulkner; sons, Doug (Tara) and David (Lori) and 4 grandchildren Colin, Katlin, Kelley and Craig. He graduated from Greenville College in 1960.

He was the owner of C.O. Faulkner Sales Incorporated for 30 years living in Carmel, Indiana.
