1913 - Apr 17 - Lakeview Dairy -
George McGaffey, Proprietor - I have bought the Kantz milk route and am prepared
to funish the public with a good quality of milk. I have the required sanitatary
appliances, and will use my best efforts in every way to give my patrons first class
service. try me.
1917 - George McGaffey, who has had the Culver milk route for the past three years has
sold his Business to Doc. Gordon, recently veterinarian at the academy

1941 - Aug. 27 - Harold Baker to Open Lake View Dairy Here
The Opening of the Lake View Dairy on Sept 1 Has been annoucned By Harold Baker, who has
been associated with the Cloverleaf
Dairy for a number of years. Henery Hinkle has been named manager of the Cloverleaf Dairy
Mr. Baker has installed new dairy equipment in the former Schlosser Building at the corner of
East Jefferson and Plymouth streets so as to give his customers the benefit of the latest
methods in handling all kinds of dairy products.
1954 - Sep - Sold to the Reliable Dairy of South Bend - a thanky notice was pritned on Sep 15
from the Harold L Baker's
1959 - May 27 - - James Davis Is New Owner of Lakeview Dairy
James Davis of Rural Route, Argos, recently purchased the Lakeview Dairy at 1014 N. Plymouth St.
Culver, from the Reliable Dairy Company of South Bend. He took over management of the
business on May 11
Mr. Davis is a graduate of Culver High School and served itwo years in the armed service.
Since his discharge from service he was been employed by the Reliable Dairy in South Bend.
Harry J. Baker, former manager of the Lakeview Dairy as accepted a position as cashier at the
Culver Military Academy.
Mr. Baker has been employed at the local dairy for the past 14 years, starting there whe it was
owned by brother, Harold L. Baker, and becoming manafer when it was sold to the Relaible Company
five years ago.

1959 - Oct 14 - Lakeview Dairy is Getting Dolled up - The Lakeview Dairy at the corner of Jefferson
and Plymouth Streets is gettiing a nice coar of white paint pus a new sign - a fine improvement to
the neighbor hood
1960 - ad for Lakview Dairy - carries only Leroy Davis' name
1961 - Sept 27 - The Former Lakeview Dairy building at the corner of
Plymouth and East Jefferson Streets
was recently purchased by the Culver Town Board ofr $4,750 from the Reliable Dairy Company of
South Bend....
