    1934 - Sep 19 Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Hackett 325 W 6th, announce the engagement of their daughter Cornelia Annabelle, to John B. Logan, son of Mr. and Mrs Ray Logan of Plymouth. Miss Hackett is a graduate of Madame Blakers school in Indianapolis and is affiliated with Tri Sigma Natioal Educational Sorority. For the past four years she has taught school in Plymouth. Mr. Logan, an employee of SHell Co. attended St. Louis University and Indiana Univeristy. Miss Hackett was born and realred in Leiters Ford and a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. J B Barger - Gary Times

    Annabelle taught second grade in the Duneland schools for many years.

    Diane Logan married married -- Meyne; and also James W Watkins.
      Diane L. Watkins, 61, of Sebring, Fla., died March 5, 2007 at her home in Sebring. She was a life-long resident of Culver , Ind.
      She was born Sept. 25, 2007 in Gary, the daughter of John and Annabelle (Hacket) Logan.

      On June 22, 1985 in Portage, she married James W. Watkins, who survives in Sebring.

      She is also survived by two sons, John Meyne and Michael Meyne, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; a step-daughter, Kathleen Hall of Tahlequah, Okla.; step-son, Mark Watkins of Gulfport, Miss.; two sisters, Sally Hauber of Naples, Fla. and Joan Lowther of Chesterton; a brother, John Logan, of Venice, Fla. and six grandchildren.

      A memorial service will be held in Culver at a later date.

      Donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
