ELBRECHT Alma Elbrecht, 86 years, beloved mother of Vernon Elbrecht, sister of
Walter Hoffmann, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, passed away Sunday.
Funeral Thursday, p.m., at the Friedens United Church of Christ.
Friends may call at the G. H. HERRMANN FUNERAL HOME, 1505 S. East St., anytime
and at the church after noon Thursday.

Alvin Elbretcht, a resident of Indianapolis all his life, died yesterday
in Methodist Hospital, after an illness of two weeks.
Funeral services are to be held at 1:30 Friday afternoon in the home at 2
at the Friedens Church.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemeteruy.
Mr. Elbrect was 41 and lived at 339 Terrace Av.
He was born n Indianapolis and formerly was instructor in the Indianapoolis
Motor School. For 25 years he had been employed as an interior decorator and
general conotractor.
He enlisted in the United States Nave in May, 1918 and as stationed in France
as a first class mechanic in naval aviation.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Alma ELbretch; a son Vernon; tweo sisters: Mrs.
Alma Sabel, Winimac and Mrs Bertha Rahe, Indianapolis; and a brother, William
Elbretcht, of Indianapolis

Services at Home and Friedens Evangelical Church for South Side Resident.
Rites for Alvin Elbrecht, age forty-one, 338 Terrace avenue, who died Tuesday
in Methodist Hospital after an illness of two weeks, will be held at 1:30 p. m.
Friday in the home and in Friedens Evangelical church at 2 p.m.
Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery,
Born in Indianapolis May 29, 1895, Mr. Elbrecht had always lived on the south side.
He formerly was employed as an instructor in the Indianapolis Motor School and for
the last twenty-five years had been in business for himself as an interior. decorator
and general contractor.
He enlisted in the United States navy May 17, 1918 and served in France as a
first-class mechanic in naval aviation.
Survivors are the Widow, Mrs. Alma Elbrecht: a son, Vernon Elbrecht; two sisters, Mrs.
Alma Sabel, Winamac, and Mrs. Bertha Rahe, Indianapolis, and a brother, William Elbrecht,

VERNON "SONNY" ELBRECHT, 83, Crystal River, Fla., formerly of Indianapolis, died Dec. 4.
He was formerly a band leader and math teacher for Crystal River (Fla.) High School.
Previously, he was vice president of K and K Insurance, Indianapolis, and a musician.
He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Indianapolis Musicians Union.
