Dale C. Fritz WINAMAC Dale C. Fritz, 69, 813 S. Franklin St., died at
10:30 a.m. Friday in Pulaski Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 16, 1916, in Pulaski County, to Alfred A. and Ione
Cottrell Fritz.
He was married Oct. 12, 1941, in Royal Center, to Marjorie Wolf who survives.
He was the former owner of Fritz Buick in Winamac and had been a part owner
of Bill Shepherd Chevrolet-Buick. In 1968, he established the Red Carpet
Furniture Mart. He retired in 1979.
He was a lifetime member of Winamac First Christian Church, Winamac Masonic
Lodge, South Bend Scottish Rite, and Orak Shrine.
He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Kirk, San Antonio, Texas, and Marilyn Banfich,
Rowayton, Conn.; a son, Allen, Winamac; a sister, Dorothy Nice, Winamac; and two
grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Frain Mortuary with the Rev. John Sargent
officiating.
Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 8 a.m. until the time of service today in the mortuary.

Marjorie W. Fritz, 92, of 624 East 13th Street, Winamac, IN, passed away at
12:50 AM Tuesday, September 14, 2010 in Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac,
IN.
She was born August 17, 1918, in Royal Center, IN, to William and Emma
Brenneke Wolf.
She married Dale C. Fritz on October 12, 1941, in Royal Center, IN. He died
on Nov. 29, 1985.
She graduated from Royal Center High School and then graduated from the Methodist
Hospital School of Nursing in Indianapolis in 1942.
She lived in Winamac for 65 years.
Marjorie was an active member of the Winamac commumity. Her memberships included
the Winamac Home Economic Club, Order of Eastern Star #96, First Christian Church
where she participated in the church choir and Christian Women's Fellowship, Delta
Sigma Tau, and the Mother's Club.
She helped staff the Pulaski Memorial Hospital when it opened in the early 1960's.
Marjorie enjoyed gardening, growing violets, and music.
