    Jerry Kent Knepper March 27, 1936 – November 12, 2017 PLYMOUTH -Jerry Knepper, 81, of Plymouth, IN died on Nov. 12, at Pilgrim Manor in Plymouth.

    Jerry was born in Burr Oak, Ind. of March 27, 1936 to the late Maro and Opal (Thornburg) Knepper.

    On May 2, 1964 he married Anna Chidalek who preceded him in death. He later married Wilda Burt on Dec. 30, 2012.

    Jerry was a meat cutter by trade. He worked in several grocery stores throughout the area over the years. He was particularly proud of the work he did at the Culver A & P.

    He also spent many years bartending at the old Lakeview Tavern in Culver.

    He regularly attended the Plymouth Baptist Church. Jerry was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and rarely missed a game.

    Jerry is survived by his wife Wilda Burt Knepper of Plymouth; children Jon (Caroloyn) Knepper of Sulphur, La., Jackie (Rick) Jozwiak of Middlebury, Brad (Lawrie) Knepper of Sandwich, Ill., and Chad (Colleen) Knepper of Plymouth; step-children MaryBeth (Larry) Houin, Plymouth, BJ (Becky) Burt of Grovertown, and Rob (Jill) Burt of Plymouth; eight grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Vernon Knepper, daughter Jolene Knepper, a step-granddaughter, and a great grandson.

    There will be a visitation at the Odom Funeral Home, Culver on Thursday, Nov. 16, from 5 – 8 pm.

    Funeral services will be held at the Odom Funeral Home, Culver, on Friday, Nov. 17, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Clark Harliss officiating.

    A dinner will follow the service at the Plymouth Baptist Church in Plymouth.

    Memorial contributions may be made to Marshall Co. Hospice in lieu of flowers.

      Joleen K. Knepper, 51, of 10557 Renfair Drive, Plantersville, Texas, died in her home at 9:55 a.m. on c Wednesday, November 22, 2006.

      Born in Plymouth on July 28, 1955, the daughter of Jerry K. Knepper and Judith A. Myers-Brownc Joleen lived in Plymouth until 1974, and spent the past five years of her life in the Texas area..

      She graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 1973.

      A talented dancer, for two years, she traveled around England with a dance troupe. She then performed in Renaissance Fairs all over the United States.

      Most recently, she concentrated on her work in photography. Her photographs and prints are vdisplayed and available for sale in a Studio in Texas.

      Joleen will be sadly missed by the many friends that she acquired during her travels and by her family members.

      She is survived by her mother, Judith A. and step-father, George R. Brown, Winona Lake, Indiana, and by her father, Jerry K. Knepper, and step-mother, Ann M. Knepper, of Culver.

      A sister, Jacqueline S. Jozwiak, Middlebury, Indiana, and three brothers, Jon K. Knepper, Sulphur, Louisiana: Chad E. Knepper, South Bend, Indiana, and Brad A. Knepper, Sandwich, Illinois, also survive together with a half-brother, James A. Hartung, Georgia, and a step-brother, William P. Brown, Plymouth, Indiana.

      Joleen?s maternal grandmother, Sylvia I. Myers of North Liberty, Indiana, survives as well.

      She was preceded in death by Donald E. Myers, her maternal grandfather and her paternal grandparents, Maro C. and Opal A. Knepper.

      Friends are invited to come for a time of sharing memories and celebrating the life of Joleen on Thursday, November 30, 2006, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. Memorial gifts in Joleen?s memory may be made to the Marshall County Humane Society.

    CULVER - Anna Marie Chidalek Knepper, 73, of Culver, passed away February 28, 2010, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth, Indiana.

    She was born July 17, 1936, to John and Anna (Husik) Chidalek in Knox, Indiana.

    She was married to Jerry Knepper on May 2, 1964.

    Ann was retired from Rickman Tool, Culver Military Academy, State Exchange Bank and American State Bank.

    She graduated from Knox High School in 1954.

    Ann loved to play cards with the P.I.G.s club and gather with her old schoolmates.

    She was a member and former secretary of St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church in Culver and was a caregiver to many a wayward cat.

    Ann is survived by her husband, Jerry; sons, Brad (Lawrie) Knepper of Sandwich, IL, and Chad Knepper of South Bend, IN; stepson, Jon (Carolyn) Knepper of Sulphur, LA; and stepdaughter, Jackie (Rick) Jozwiak of Middlebury, IN; three granddaughters, Elinor, Ava and Margaret Knepper; five grandsons, Jared and Devan Knepper, Al, Matt and Randy Jozwiak; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Chidalek of Whiting, IN, Donna Chidalek of Logansport, IN, and Joanne Stratton of Plymouth, IN; as well as many nieces and nephews, and lots of friends and neighbors.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Anthony, Al, Joseph and Ed Chidalek; and stepdaughter, Joleen Knepper.

    A time of sharing memories with the family will be held at St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church, Culver, on Saturday, March 6, 2010, from 9:30 - 11:00 AM EDT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM.

    Interment will be at a later date.

    Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice or to the family.
