A Noble Anniversary

The anual banquet of Marmont lodge, Knights of Pythias, was of more than ordinary interset and will take its place in the annals of the organizations as a red letter event

The lodge room was filled with members of the order and their families when the banqueting hour arriaved, and the nemus of sandwiches, olives, pickles, coffee and icream was a stimulating prelude to the "fest of reason and the flow of soul" over which S. C. Shilling presided and in his capacity of toastmaster gave the address of welcome.

E. B . DeVault, a lawyer of Kewanna, made the address of the evening, and the hearty applause which followed showed how well he had met the demands of the occasion.

The unuseal feature of the evening was the presentation of gold veteran jewels to members who had been affiliated with the orfer for 25 years.

The presentation was made by Mr. DeVault. Dr. WIseman then made an appropriate response.
