He was on his way home, they had went to Pike's Peak to test out a brake he had designed, a friend Carl Fisher was with him and survived the accident.

He married Sophie Selah Newton b. abt 1898 Massachusetts. Selah Marmon remarried 3 Jan 1931 Marion county Indiana Orland Arrison Church born 14 Aug 1895 Danville, Illinois died 20 May 1955 son of Albert C. Church and Frances W. --- also married Clarence B. Coldwell
