Allen Samuelson Family  



I , Allen Samuelson, wasthe third son of Robert and Helen (Newman) Samuelson .

I attended Evangelical Concenant Sunday School. I attened West School five years, Lincoln Junior High three years, and graduated from Plymouth HIgh School . I was an officer of the Plymouth Chapter of Future Farmer of America a couple of years and was a ten year 4-H member in West Township. I took part in judging constest, along with other 4-H activities.

I attened Purdue short course and graduated. I am a partner in the Robert Samuelson and Sons partnership, and have beendairy breeding and calf manager and represented the family at dairy organizations.

On July 8, 1979 I married Dr. Georgette Eberling born July 27, 1948 originally from Staten Ilsand, New York.

Georgette continued practicing as a Doctor of Veternianry Medicine at Bourbon Veterinary Clinic for a while, transferring to the Parrett Veterinary CLinc until December 1982, when we moved to Culver to open our own veterinary service, the Culver Animal Hospital, taking over from Dr. and Mrs. Osacr Wesson at 1111 Lakeshore Drive.

Georgette is on the Marshall County Board of Health and a member of the Michiana, state, and national veterinary Associations.

We are members of Associated Milk Producers, the Fulton-Marshall Farm Bureau Co-op, and the Marshall County Dairy Association, on which I have served the board of directors for ten years and as president for two years. I served four years as director of District 1 of the Indiana Holstein Breeders, and have been a director of the Michianna Holstein Club, and the Marshall County Dairy Herd Improvement Association a number of Years each. I was 4-H leader and on the 4-H Council.

We have three childre with another on the way: Danielle Lynn ; Mark Allen ; and Jami Anne .
