Dduring the mid and late 1950's Bryce Bigley had a fresh fruit market on this corner during the Summer and early fall months

The this was the corner that held all the billboards too in a curve on what would be the property line of today..

In 1970, Bob McKinnis moved his store from the downtown location [which was Rector's Pharmacy on the East side of the street across from the bank] and then merged with Mr. T's ( Ronold "Ron"Tusing) in 1977 who had moved also from the downtown area to 806 Academy Dr. just west of the Lakeshore Clinic and Culver Dental Clinic. They merged the two pharmacies. in order to survive the competetion when Hooks, was brought into townin 1974 and have a locally owned phramacy within Ciulver.
