Louise Freeman, 77, passed away at 6:37 a.m. on Saturday July 8,
2017 at the Hospice House of South Bend.
Louise was born in Russellville, Alabama on November 19, 1939 to
Gordon Thompson and Zada M. (Williams) Morrow.
She graduated from Russellville High School.
On January 19, 1991, Louise married James A. Freeman. They got to
treasure 26 wonderful years together.
Louise worked for Scotty’s Restaurant in Plymouth as a hostess and
bartender, and then for Culver Military School in housekeeping
until her retirement.
A very loving, yet private woman, Louise never had a bad thing to say
about anyone. She loved her sheltie dogs and gardening her flowers.
She loved her family and making memories with her girls and their
families.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jim of Culver; daughters, Gwen
(Bob) Thomas of Argos and Theresa Burns of Plymouth; step-daughters,
Michelle (Allen) McHolland of South Bend and Deanna Taylor of Bremen;
6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and brother and sister,
Bobby Thompson and Linda Thompson, both of Russellville, AL.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: James, Hulon
and Floyd Thompson.
Per her wishes, private family services will take place.
married 1st and divorced from Douglas Keith Burns son of
David B. Burns (1909-1990) and Frieda M. Reed and married 2nd Robert "Bob"
