Mrs. Mildred V. DITMIRE, 74, Culver , died at 3:30 a.m. Thursday at the home of her son, Norman DITMIRE, in South Bend.


Mrs. Ditmire was born July 29, 1905 near Culver to Oscar and Nellie DUDLESON ZECHIEL. She had been a lifetime resident of Marshall and Fulton counties. She was married June 10, 1925 in Culver to Raymond M. DITMIRE, who died in 1953. She was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist church.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Harry John (Catherine) OVERMYER, Rochester; Mrs. Ruth THOMAS, South Bend; Mrs. August (Doris) BRENNER, South Bend; Mrs. Alvin (Gene) TRIPLETT, Culver ; and Mrs. James (Jane) HARTLE, Argos; three sons, Frederick, Rochester; Raymond Lee , Culver , and Norman , South Bend; twenty grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Catherine HEPLER, Plymouth, and Mrs. Marcella WHITE, Culver ; a brother, Alvin ZECHIEL, Culver .

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Emmanuel United Methodist church in Culver with the Rev. Robert HANSEN officiating.

Burial will be in the Leiters Ford I.O.O.F. cemetery.

Friends may call at the Bonine funeral home, Culver , after 2 p.m. Saturday and until noon Sunday and at the churc prior to services.
