    PHOENIX, Ariz. — Jack B. Spencer, 85, died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009 in Phoenix, Ariz.

    He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and graduated in 1952 from Prudue University.

    He was a member of El Zariba Shrine in Phoenix, Ariz. and of the Realatior Accosication.

    He owned and operated a plumbing and heating shop in Culver until 1972, then moved to Phoenix, where he was a real estate broker until his retirement.

    Survived by his wife, Madge Spencer: daughter, Barbara (Paul) Patterson: son, John (Theresa) Spencer: five Granddaughters, Rebecca (Jarrett) Wanner; Sarah (Nathan) Frankovich; Margaret (Kristopher) Patterson; Michelle (Dewey) Hester; Crystal (Jose) Boomhower; three Great Granddaughters, Brynn Marie Frankovich; Elena Hester; Isabelle Wanner

    Grave side memorial services will be held Sept.12, at noon in St. Joseph's Valley Memorial Park, Granger.

    Hendersonville, N. C.

    June Spencer Schnedeker, 80, of Carolina Village in Hendersonville, N. C. died Saturday, July 16, 2005 at the Carolina Village Health Center following a short illness.

    Mrs. Schnedeker was a native of Northern Indiana and had lives in
    Hendersonville since October.

    SHe was a daughter of the late William Arthur Schnedeker and Marie Burchards Schnedeker, and recieved her bachelor's degree from DePaw University in Greenecastle, Indiana.

    She was formerl employed by the Culver Military Academy and was a junior high school art teached for the Culver Community School Corportation, both in Culver, Indiana

    She was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church and was instrumental in helping create Call-A-RIde, both in Hebrom., Indiana.

    She also served as a social worker in the Calumet, Indiana area and was a lifeland Girl Scout and scout leader.

    An avif gardener, she enjoyed sewing, traveling, and many other hoddies, and had a great affection for dogs.

    Mrs. Schnedeker is survived by one daughter, Bambi Patterson, and her husband Paul of Hebron. Indiana; one sone, John Spencer, and his wife Tracy of White Pinem Tennessee; thre grandchildren: Rebecca Patterson Wanner and her husband Jarrett, Srah Patterson Frankovich, and her hushand Nathan and Margaret Ann Patterson; and on great granddaughter Brynn Marie Frankovich.

    Services will be private.

    In lieu of flower, memorials my be made to the Girl Scouts of Singing Sands Council 3620 Deahl Court South Bend, In. 46628 or to the Purdue Foundation in care of Purdue Univesity School of Veterinary Mediciine 1240 Lynn Hall Room 1177A West Lafayette, Ind. 47907-1240
