Emil Siepman  





Emil Siepman did alot of traveling before he made his home in Culver . He was born in Effen, German, and came to the United States in 1909. He first located in Nebraska, where two generations of his family had been before him. His stay there was for only ninr months wher he went to Chicago.

Mr. Siepman moved to Culver in September, 1919 and opened a sheet metal shop, which he operated until 1926.

He then bought the A. M. Roberts plumbing and heating shop, and has continued in this business.

The picture shows him with a tank of bottled gas which line he added a few years ago. It wouldn't require the services of Charlie Chan to figure out where the picture was taken.

Siepman Sells Buisness to Plymouth Man
    Emil Siepman has sold his plumbing and heating business to Oscar Booker and Ted Kebert of Plymouth

    They will move here with their families as so as places to live can be obtained.

    Both are experienced in this line of buisness. They will have their office in SIepman's shop on East State Street.

1957 - Aug 28 - Emil Siepman, age 80, former Culver resident, died Saturday at his home in Davis, Calif.
