    Plymouth - Richard W. Kreighbaum, 69, of 315 Indiana Ave., died at 2 p.m. Thursday in Holy Cross Parkview Hospital.

    Mr. Kreighbaum retired in 1984 as co-owner of the Corner Tavern, Culver, where he worked for 23 years. He wa born Aug 2, 1922, in Plymouth and was a lifelong area resident

    On May 27, 1944, in South Bend, he married Lee Hickey, she survives with four dauguhters: Linda Bostelman of Antwerp, Ohio; Jill Howard of Plymouth; Jane Kreighbaum of Orlando, Fla. and Janet Swanson of Tempe, Ariz.; a son: John of Plymouth; nine grandchildren; a sister Elizabeth Miller of Plymouth; AND A BROTHER, Harry of Cawfordsville, Ind.

    A son John Jeffery, preceded him in death.

    He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, the Moose, ELks and Phi Delta Kappa fraternity.

    Swevices will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Johnson Funeral Home.

    Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

    Cremation will take place.

    Lee H. Kreighbaum, age 83, of 315 Indiana Avenue, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away at 9:50 p.m., on Sunday, May 17, 2009, at Miller's Merry Manor, in Plymouth.

    She was born on December 6, 1925, in South Bend, Indiana, to Anthony and Barbara (Tschida) Hickey.

    On May 27, 1944, Lee and Richard Kreighbaum were united in marriage. Together they raised their family of five children.

    Lee and Richard were former owners of the Corner Tavern, in Culver, Indiana.

    Lee enjoyed doing volunteer work with the local Red Cross Bloodmobile. She also did volunteer typing for Ancilla Domini, in Donaldson, Indiana. Lee was a member Saint Michael Catholic Church, where she was active with the Altar Rosary Society.

    Lee is survived by her son, John and (Susie) Kreighbaum of Plymouth; four daughters, Linda and (Lonnie) Bostelman of Antwerp, Ohio, Jane and (Pete) VanEtten of Cocoa Beach, Florida, Jill Howard of Plymouth, and Jan and (Scott) Swanson of Phoenix, Arizona. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Lee came from a family of three sisters and eight brothers.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, on June 11, 1992.

    Funeral services, for Lee, will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, May 22, 2009, at the VAN GILDER FUNERAL HOME with the Rev. Father William Kummer officiating.

    Burial will be in New Oak Hill Cemetery, in Plymouth.

    A time of visiting and sharing memories with the Kreighbaum family, will be on Thursday, May 21, 2009, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the VanGilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street, Plymouth, Indiana, 46563.
