Dean J. Rans

Dean J. Rans, 84, Port Richey, Fla., passed away peacefully on March 20, 2009, surrounded by his loving family and with the Gulfside Regional Hospice at his bedside.

He was a former Culver resident, moving to Port Richey, Fla., in 1989.

He was born on March 9, 1925, in Fulton County to Fred and Lelia Rans.

Dean graduated from Aubbeenaubbee Township High School and immediately joined the U.S. Army, serving in the Battle of the Bulge during World War II. - - Rochester Sentinel April 7/8, 2009
