Dan Weirick, who has been located in Bremen for the past twelve years was formerly employed
by NIPSCO here in Culver. Other than a brief vacation Mr. Wagner's future plans are indefinite.

Daniel F. Weirick CULVER - Services for Daniel F. Weirick, 80, of 1201 W. Shore Drive, who died
Tuesday night in Miller's Merry Manor, Plymouth, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Bonine Funeral
Home. Rev. Larsene Hall of Winamac will officiate.
Burial will be in Culver Masonic Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and until services Friday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund.
He was born on Aug. 20, 1903, in Sheffield, Ill., and lived in Culver since 1921. On Jan. 5, 1935,
in Tyner, he married Erma Miller, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Alice) Lemar and Mrs. Ted (Meredith) Peltz, both of
Culver; two sons, Donald E. of Culver and Jim L. of Blue Springs, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and eight
grandchildren.
He retired from the Northern Indiana Public Service Co. in 1946 and from Culver Military Academy in 1969.

Manager Is Married At Plymouth
Dan Weirick, son of Mrs. Margaret Walters of Burr Oak, and Miss Doris
Pauline Long, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Long of Plymouth,
were married Saturday at the residence of J. F. Appleman in Plymouth.
The mothers of the bride and bridegroom witnessed the ceremony.
Mr. Weirick is employed as manager of the Forbes Garage in Bremen and
they will reside here.

Doris P. O'Neel CULVER - Services for Doris P. O'Neel, 76, of Route 2, who died at 2:45 p.m.
Saturday in her home after an illness, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Johnson Funeral Home,
Plymouth.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Mrs. O'Neel was born Jan. 26, 1909, in Plymouth, and lived in the area all her life.
On July 20, 1940, in Davenport, Ohio, she married August O'Neel. He died Aug. 3, 1959.
Surviving are a daughter, Alice Lemar of Culver; a son, Don Weirick of Culver; and three
grandchildren.
Mrs. O'Neel had been employed in the dining hall at Culver Military Academy.
She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.

Alice M. Lemar, 87, of Culver, passed away at Miller's Merry Manor in Plymouth on September 17, 2013.
Alice was born to Daniel and Doris (O'Neel) Weirick in Plymouth, Indiana on February 12, 1926.
After graduating high school, she fell in love and married Robert W. Lemar in Grovertown, Indiana. He
preceded her in death on September 10, 1988.
Alice loved to read and caring for her house plants.
Alice is survived by her daughter Robbie (Gene) Ringer of Culver, Indiana, 6 grandchildren, and 12 great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Don Weirick.
A time to gather and share memories with the family will be held at the Odom Funeral Home on Friday,
September 20, 2013 from 5 - 9 PM.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 10 AM.
Burial will follow at Culver Masonic Cemetery.
Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Erma R. Weirick CULVER - Erma R. Weirick, 72, of 1201 West Shore Drive, died at 1 a.m. today in her home.
Mrs. Weirick was born April 25, 1912, in Tyner.
She was a lifelong resident of Marshall County.
On Jan. 5, 1935, she married Daniel F. Weirick. He died March 27, 1984.
Surviving are a daughter, Meredith Peltz of Culver; a son, Jim Weirick of Blue Springs, Mo.; a stepdaughter,
Alice LeMar of Culver; a stepson, Donald Weirick of Culver; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a
sister, Goldie Shoemaker of Tucson, Ariz.; and two brothers, Dr. Welcome Miller of LaPorte and W. Earl Miller
of Bradenton, Fla.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bonine Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Culver Masonic Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

Mary Alice Weirick, 58, of Culver, Indiana, died at 1:37PM on Thursday, June 30, 2005, at St.
Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, IN.
Mary was born on November 21, 1946, to John Y. and Mary B. (Blandford) Slick at South Bend,
Indiana.
She was married on June 12, 1987, at Plymouth, Indiana, to Jim Weirick. He survives.
She is also survived by her loving daughter: Theresa (Tixe) Wierick of Culver, IN; step-son: Dr.
Troy A. (Suzie) Weirick of Lexington, KY; step-daughters: Leigh (Jerry) O'Neal of Indianapolis,
IN, and Tina (Tracy) Mevis of Warsaw, IN; sister: Kathryn (Kent) Perry of South Bend, IN; and
grandchildren: Harrison, Andrew, and Makayla Mevis, and Martha (Marty) Weirick.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday, July 3, 2005, from 3:00 - 7:00PM, with a Spiritual Wake
service at 6:30PM, at the Bonine-Odom Funeral Home in Culver, Indiana. Father Glenn
Kohrman will officiate services on Monday, July 4, 2005, at 10:30AM at the St. Mary's of the
Lake Catholic Church in Culver, Indiana. Interment will follow at Culver Masonic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church or the Culver
Alumni and Community Scholarship Fund at the Marshall County Community Foundation.
