I think this is the garage and extra room on the lot of 138 W. Shore Dr. If so it is the former grocery store ran by the Walker family and the Bait shop that Jim Rinesmith ran for several years. It was not listed in 1993 and was not listed in the 2005 directory either.

1964 - June 4 - The Country Store opened for buisness

1979-91 - James & Lillian Rinesmith

The garage and small rental or guest apartment above was once a small grocery and you can see the main house in the back ground. The grocery was probably first ran by the Walkers, & Rovell's and then Jim Rinesmith supposingly ran started a small bait and snack shop out it when the "boathouse" next door was closed down but both these were never ran out of the house it self as others have implied.

When the boat house went out of business it its said that Jim Rinesmith built his aunt Ora Rovell a little cottage across the road where she resided until she passed away. That little cottage has since been torn down.

Just when it was converted to an apartment and garage area is unknown but it was before the early 1970's.

For years Jim Rinesmith worked part time for Bill Snyder in the Culver Hardware.

David Burns done the seawall or the repairs of the existing seawall at this cottage as well as the orginial stone work at the Walker Boathouse next door when Frank Malkowski (140 W. Shore Dr.) owned the cottage as well as the cottage next door (160 W. Shore Dr.) to the boathouse then owned by Chet Evers. All were done the same year and in succession of each, pictures were taken of the shore line and work in progress.
