    W. Albert Steinhilber, 83, Dies After Heart Attack

    W. Albert Steinhilber, 83, of Winter Park, Fla., retired Logansport businessman, died a 3:30 a.m. Saturday in Winter Park Memorial hospital. He had suffered a heart attack 10 days ago.

    Mr. Steinhilber operated Automotive Service, a, wholesale automotive parts firm, at 230 E. Linden Ave. from 1945 until his retirement eight years ago, when he moved to Florida.

    Born Aug. 12, 1888, in Indianapolis to Emil and Bertha Steinhilber, he attended Indiana University, where he was a member of Sigma. Nu fraternity.

    He was sales manager of Central Supply Co., Indianapolis, and then with Central Motor Parts in that city before moving here in 1945.

    A World War I veteran, he was a member of the Service Club of Indianapolis and cofounder of the McDlvaine-Kothe American Legion post in that city.

    He also was a member of the Logansport Rotary dub and Calvary Presbyterian church, of which he was a former deacon. Surviving are the wife, Ruth; a daughter, Mrs. Gene Brandenburg, Orlando, Fla.; a son, William A., Jr., 2601 High Si; four grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

    Private rites will be held Monday at Winter Park. The family asks that flowers be omitted.

    Contributions may be made to the Logansport Rotary Memorial Trust Fund, the YM-YWCA, or Calvary Presbyterian church

    Ruth Steinhilber Dies

    Ruth R. Steinhilber, 81, Winter Park, Fla., a former Logansport resident, died at 2:45 a.m. Monday at the Americana Nursing Care Center in Winter Park.

    Born on June 10, 1898, in Newcastle, she was the daughter of Eugene And Ella Runyon. She was married on November 27,1916, to W. Albert Steinhilber, who died in 1971.

    She moved to Logansport with her husband in 1945. They established Automotive Services Inc., where she served as secretary-treasurer until her retirement in 1963. She had been a member ol the Calvary Presbyterian Church in Logansport,

    Surviving are one daughter, Gene Brandenburg, Orlando, Fla.; one son, William A., 2601 High St.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

    Private services will be held Wednesday in Winter Park, Fla. Memorial contributions may be made to the Logansport Rotary Memorial Trust Fund or the Cancer Society.
