Day 500-mile race at Indianapolis.

Arthur Buchanan "Art" Lathrop, president of Adams Farm CO., died today in Winona Hospital
LAthrop, 51, lived at 4000N Meridan. He also maintained a home in Hawaii.
A director of QUality Steel Co., Lathrop formerly served as director of J. D> Admas Manufactuirn Co.,
now a division of LeTourneau-Westinghouse Corp.
In WOrld War II he served in the SOuth Pacific as a lieutenant junior grade in the U. S. Navy.
Lathrop attended Shortridge High School and Park School received his bachelor's from Williams College
and a ;law degree from the University of Michigan Law School
He was a member of the Indiana Bar Association, Indianapolis Athletic Club, University Club, Woodstock
CLub and Crokked Stick Country CLub.
Cars owoned by Lathrop were intered in the Indianapolis 500-mile race eight years. Johnny Thompson
drove one of Lathrop's cars in a third place finish in 1959 after starting in the pole position.
Services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow in FLanner & Buchanan Fall Creek Mortuary, where friends may call
tonight.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

INDIANAPOLIS- Daniel A. Lathrop, 31, of Indianapolis and formerly of Rockville, died on Wednesday,
January 11, 2006 at his residence.
He was a surgery technician at Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis.
He was born on May 28, 1974 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Alan Adams Lathrop and Pamela Goetze Lathrop.
Survivors include his parents Steven K. and Pamela H. Farner of Rockville; one brother Robert A Lathrop
of Chattanooga, Tennessee; one step-sister Michelle A. Farner of Tallahassee, Florida; and grandparents
Robert Goetze of Rockville, Faye Farner of Rockville and Jane Appel of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his father Alan Adams Lathrop.
He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockville and was a 1992 graduate of Rockville High School and a
ttended Ball State University.
Services are 10:00 am on Monday, January 16, 2006 at the Rockville Christian Church on US HWY 36 west of
Rockville with Rev. Brad Bumgardner officiating.
Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville. Visitation will be 4-8 on Sunday, January 15,
2006 at the Rockville Christian Church.
