Mrs. Hollowell Summer Resident Dies at Age 64

Mrs. Juanita M. Hollowell, 3101 N. Meridian St., Apt. B, Indianapolis, and well-known Lake Maxinkuckee summer resident for many years, died Monday, May 21, at the age of 64. in the Methodist Hospital in that city after a short illness.

Born in Spencer, Ind., Dec. 1, 1897, Mrs. Hollowell had resided 40 years in Indianapolis and had spent her summers since 1932 at the family cottage at 1540 East Shore Drive, Culver . She was a member of the Maxinkuckee Yacht Club and the Maxinkuckee Country Club.

Mrs. Hollowell attended Wilson College at Chambersburg, Pa., and during World War I, served as one of the first, yeomanen-cites in the United States Navy at the Naval Observatory in Washington. She was a member of the Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, the Columbia Club
and the Spencer Club of Indianapolis and devoted much of her time to many charitable organizations.

Surviving with her husband, Robert E . Hollowell, Sr., are a son, Robert E. Hollowell Jr. of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Joan Steely of Deland, Fla., and Mrs. Joyce Speer of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Jean Mitten of Wabash; three brothers, Pa ul Baumngartner of Indianapolis, Robert, Baumgartner of Spencer, and John Baumgartner of New Albany; and seven grandchildren. Mr. Hollowell is president of the Pierson—Hollowell Company, Inc., Indianapolis veneer and lumber firm.

Services are being held at. 3 o'clock this afternoon at, the Flanner &. Buchanan Fall Creek Mortuary in Indianapolis with interment at, Crown Hill Mausoleum there.
