1929 - The law firm of Miller, Dailey & Thompson, of Indianapolis, has dissolved and three new firms created... Frank C. Dailey will form a partnership with Perry O'Neal. They will have offices at 1258 Consolidated building.

Thompson O’Neal & Smith (1941-1966). The new name in 1941 reflected the central role Perry E. O’Neal and Patrick J. Smith had assumed in the firm’s practice. Mr. Smith joined Thompson & Rabb in 1938 after Mr. Stevenson’s departure; and Mr. O’Neal, who previously had practiced with Mr. Thompson at Miller Dailey & Thompson,joined in 1940 after Mr. Rabb’s death.

The O'Neal's lived at 1040 West 42nd Street in Indianapolis. The O'Neal mansion was in Shooters Hill 36 acre tract once incorporated as a town which began to fade in 1951 and by 1962 it was earmarked for the Christain Theological Seminary the Neal mansion now serves the seminary as an overnight hospitality center for seminary students and their families The magnificent English colonial home was built in 1929 as a wedding present for his daughter Lucy Holliday O’Neal and her husband Perry
