1985-92 - Thomas S. & Gretchen Osborne
Tom was remodeling and wanted to dig out under the house. this was not doable since the house was built on field stone. So he tore it down.

They came from 686 West Shore Dr. to here. They had the old wood cottage torn down about 1988/9 and built a brick home in its place. Some one else done the brick work on the house - tho Mr. Osborne had wanted David Burns to lay it. He did the repair work on the remaining stone walls of the property; the wall on the lake from was demolished at some point - till all that remains now are some of the stone pillars in places. The stone wall and pillars remain intact that surrounded the property on the road side (East Shore Dr./St. Rd. 117

    John Stimson Jr. writes:
I watched David redo the sea wall on the old Howell property for Tom Osborn who built the hugh house. Later he sold it to Tom Spiece who in turn sold it to John Zeglis

Nancy and I were renting the Perry O, Neal/Alice O'Neal Dye cottage for July on the two years when the Tom Osborn cottage was being built
