          HARRISBURG, Pa. — Nancy Larsen Green, 81, Harrisburg, Pa., passed away peacefully at 2:45 a.m. Feb. 12, 2017, at the Lebanon Valley Home, Annville, Pa.

          Nancy was born Feb. 18, 1935, the daughter of Arthur and Rosemary Larsen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Green, and her daughter, Patricia Green Ohmart.

          She is survived by her son, Michael Green, and partner, Dennis Loftin, of Harrisburg, Pa.; her sister, Marilyn Jelinek, Willowbrook; her niece, Sue Jelinek, and her spouse, Dorothy Gatch, of Cincinnati, Ohio.

          In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Harrisburg, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111.

          Nancy moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to her son in 2014. Prior to that time, she resided in Frankfort and Normal. In addition to her family, Nancy’s passion was for the care of animals, and she was a long-time supporter of various animal welfare groups. For many years, she was employed at animal clinics as veterinarian assistant. She and her husband were also strong supporters of their children’s involvement with the music program at Lincoln-Way High School, New Lenox.

          Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
