Theda L (Warner) Bartholomew Geer



Theda is a confusing woman that in a 1887 document by this statement

    (said Theda Geer being formerly the widow of Albert Bartholomew and residing in the county of Marshall state of Indiana)
she stated she was a widow YET there are two marriage dates to her second husband - one being before her first husband died. And it states her second husband and their residents as follows:
    Theda Geer and Jabez Geer her husband both of the Township of Clay county of St. Clair and state of Michigan
the document was dated May 5, 1887 and was a replacement for a deed that was to have been filed in 1874
    This deed being given to perfect title in said second party to said lands as was intended to be conveyed by deed dated Sept 18 1874 and recorded in deed Record No. 11 pg. 71 of Marshall co Ind on October 24th 1874
it was for the property known as - "Halycon Villa" and also Scott's Boathouse .

It is really unknown if they resided in the area of Lake Maxinkuckee or were just summer residents.
