1904 - Jun 2 - Spencer Bros. have just completed a fine job of stone work for L. C. Dillon

1904 - Jun 9 - The frame work of Mr . L. C. Dillon's new residence is up and general appearances indicate that this will be one of the finest and most modern homes in this part of the county.

1904 - Jun 30 - L. C. Dillon is certainly rushing the work on his new residence north of town. He has brick layers, stone masons, carpenters, plumbers and will drivers at work there now. WHen completed it will be one of the finest farm residences in this vicinity.

1904 - Dec 8 - Mr. an Mrs L. C. Dillon and H. M. Speyer were at Chicago last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. They purchased the furniture for Mr. Dillon's new residence, which is one of the largest and most commodious fram residences in the county.

1905 - May 11 L. C. Dillon is putting in cement walks around his residence.

1907 Apr 4 - L. C. Dillon is having his farm residence north of town, built two years ago, handsome;y papered

1907 - Oct 10 - L. C. Dillon is placing about a mile and a third of wire fence on his farm this week. He will have between three and four miles when he had fully cover his farm.

1908 - June - 23 - Barns were partial unroofed during a cyclone.

1915 - Oct 7 - The L. C. Dillon home is to be enlivened hereafter by a $200 diamond disc Edison phonograph

1924 - Oct 1 - L. C. Dillon has started to build a $5,000 sheep barn on his farm north of Culver

    L. C. Dillon has the lumber on the ground to build a sheep barn which will hold one thousand head of his livestock
