Residents of Logansport Spend Hot Summer Days at Lake Maxinkuckee
“Little Logansport On The Lake”, is a term which could easily be applied to the
group of citizens from here who are vacationing on the banks of Lake Maxinkuckee
this summer.
This summer more Logansporter’s than in recent years have rented or will rent
cottages at Culver. Numerous families own cottages there and some visit them
the year around.
Special activities are enjoyed by the group from this city. Boat races, swimming
races, picnic, and parties have been and are still being arranged to help pass the
hottest summer days.
One gentleman commented that there were so many of the city’s residents there that
it was “just like walking down Broadway on Saturday night”.
