1890 - May 27 - Mr. A. J. Murdock is making extensive improvements to his cottage at Maxinkuckee and preparing the same for occupance as soon as the seasons fairly open. - Logansposrt Pharos Tribune


1892 - The A. J. Murdock, W. T. Wilson, W. H. Snider, Frank Rice, George B. Forgy, and L. S. Purcell cottages of what is known as the "Logansport Settlement" burned in Sep 1892

1893 - May 20 W. T. Wilson's cottage at Maxinkuckee is well under way. After the fire Mr. W. purchased A. J. Murdock's lot, so that he now has much larger and handsomer grounds for his summer home

1893 - Jun 23 - W. T. Wilson has completed a handsome summer cottage at Maxinkuckee - NOTE this replaced one that burned in Sep 1892

1899 - Apr 18 - Tom Wilson is having a barn built on his property at Lake Maxinkuckee and is otherwise improving it. - Logansport Pharos Tribune
