Mrs. Mary Lewis Becker Dies At St. Joseph Mrs. Mary Lewis Becker, 57, 2611 E. Broadway, wife of Edwin H. Becker, president of Alpha Industries, died at 4 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Hospital.

She was born in Logansport, March 4, 1912, the daughter of Allen E. and Grace Wilkinson Nelson

She attended Logansport High School and graduated from the University of Illnois- in 1934.

She was a past vice-president and director of the YWCA and a past member of the YMYWCA Holding Corporation

Mrs. Becker was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, Kappa Kappa Kappa Sorority, the American Heart Association and the United Fund. She was also involved in numerous civic activities during her lifetime

She was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Social Sorority.

Her marriage was to Edwin H. Becker in Logansport, July 30,, 1936.

Surviving are her parents, 3009 East Broadway; her husband; two sons, Nelson J., 407 Long Tree Lane, and E. Allen, 805 37th St.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Anna Swennumson. Arlington Heights, Ill; a sister, Mrs. Clark T. Welsh, 3425 High Street Road; a great-aunt, Mrs. Alice Nelson Keller, 409 Seventh St.; four grandchildren and six nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Frank Little officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at the McCloskey-Hamilton-KaWe Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Saturday, from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and one hour prior to services at the church; Monday.

The family requests that in lieu of "flowers, donations be made to the Cancer fund or the YM or YWCA
