    Lorenzo LUCKENBILL, 70, well-known undertaker of Leiters Ford, died at four a.m. today at his home in that town.

    Death resulted from angina-pectoris following a three days' illness. Mr. Luckenbill had been in ill health for the past few weeks, however, he had been bedfast for only two or three days. Thursday evening he was so much improved that he was up and around the house. During the early hours of today, he suffered another attack from which he failed to rally.

    Mr. Luckenbill had resided in Leiters Ford for over 44 years, where he was engaged in the undertaking and furniture business.

    At the time of his demise he was serving his second term as a Republican member of the Fulton county council.

    The deceased was active in the civic and religious affairs of his community and county and had a host of friends throughout this section of the state.

    Lorenzo, son of Charles and Margaret (JAMISON) LUCKENBILL, was born in Miami county, Ind., on December 31st, 1872.

    He was united in marriage with Myrta WILLIAMS on October 17th, 1899.

    Mr Luckenbill was a member of the Leiters Ford Methodist church, the Leiters Ford I.O.O.F. lodge and the Mt. Horeb Encampment.

    Survivors are his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Charles KROFT, of Indianapolis; Mrs. Anna SAVAGE, of Macy; a brother, Alonzo LUCKENBILL, of Akron, and a number of nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, two o'clock at the Luckenbill chapel, Leiters Ford. Rev. M. R. BURGETT, pastor of the Leiters Ford Methodist church will be in charge of the rites.

    The I.O.O.F. local lodge will conduct its ritual at the services.

    Interment will be made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery west of Leiters Ford.

    The body lies in state at the chapel where friends may call up until the hour of the services.

    Mrs. Myrta (WILLIAMS) LUCKENBILL, 74, died at 2:05 a.m. today at her home in Leiters Ford.

    She had been in failing health for four years and seriously ill since March 10.

    Mrs. Luckenbill has been a resident of Leiters Ford for 54 years.

    She was born Aug. 22, 1880 in Miami county to Raymond and Mary (SMITH) WILLIAMS.

    On Oct. 17, 1900, she was married to Lorenzo L. LUCKENBILL, who died in 1943.

    Mrs. Luckenbill assisted her husband in the mortuary profession until his death.

    She was a charter member of Cloverleaf Rebekah Lodge No. 638 which was formed in 1902.

    She was captain of the degree team for 20 years and was past district deputy of District No. 23 of the lodge.

    Mrs. Luckenbill was a member and an active worker in the Leiters Ford Methodist church and was a member o the New Idea Club.
