Culver - Maxinkuckee Home Supply has become an affiliate member of Hardware Wholesalers, Inc A member owned buying organization of over 1900 independent merchants.

HWI 's home office is located in Fort Wayne. Indiana. HWI serves retail hardware and building material dealers and has annual sale volume of over $300 million dollars. Charles and Rodney Edgington owners of Maxinkuckee Home Supply said their firm will now be an outlet for more than 33,000 items in the HW| Distribution Center. Edgerton [Edgington] said their firm will now be able to offer the local market a complete selection of building materials, hardware, brand-name tools, kitchen cabinets, carpeting and paint. Other departments include lawn and garden supplies, housewares, toys, appliances. sporting goods, plumbing and electrical items, which will be carried in stock or may be ordered from the HWI catalog.

Deliveries are made each Wednesday from the Distribution Center in Fort Wayne. Special orders can be delivered during the week in which the order is placed, if the item is ordered before Monday noon.

Maxinkuckee Home Supply will open their new store in about two weekswith a Grand Opening planned for late June.

Maxinkuckee Home Supply will open a new garden center to be known as Maxinkuckee Lawn and Garden Center in their east buillding It will be managed by Mr. and Mrs. Rick Spencer. The new store will feature Bolens mowers, ride mowers and garden tractors, Homelite Chain Saws, Scott’s fertilizers and lawn seeds as well as garden plants , tools and other related items. Rick Spencer is trained to repair all small engines.
