Robert T. Lea Hebron, Robert T. Lea, 76, of Hebron, Indiana passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2006.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Darlene (nee Ward); two sons: Randy (Christel) Lea of Cedar
Lake, Indiana and Danny Lea of Westville, Indian; one daughter, Paula (Dale) Dorschel of Florida.
Also surviving are ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren along with one brother, Ken (Barb)
Hjertquist of Wisconsin and one sister-in-law, Phyllis (late Raymond) Lea, Sr. of Highland, Indiana.
Services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the Kuiper Funeral Home with Pastor
Mark S. Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana.
Friends may call the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks South of Ridge Road), Highland
on Monday, June 12 from 2 to 8 PM.
Mr. Lea attended Fellowship Baptist Church of Westville, Indiana and was a retired Dairy Queen Owner.
Memorials may be given to the church.

Darlene M. Lea (nee Ward), age 77, of Hebron, IN, passed away Friday, July 17, 2009.
She is survived by her two children: Paula (Dale) Dorschel of FL and Daniel Lea of Hebron, IN;
eight grandchildren: Kristin (Dan) Malerba of FL, Ryan (Kelli) Dorschel of FL, Ben Dorschel of VA,
Megan Dorschel of FL, Kyle, Keith and Kent Lea all of KY and Joshua Lea of OH; three great-
grandchildren: Paige, Caden and Liam; brother, Jack Ward of St. John, IN; sister, Judy (Joe) Lammi
of MN; daughter-in- law, Christel Lea of Cedar Lake, IN; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lea was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lea; and son, Randy Lea.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039
Kleinman Road, (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Pastor Andrew Almanza officiating.
Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday, July 20, 2009 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the f
uneral home.
Mrs. Lea was a retired proprietor for over 25 years of many Dairy Queen Restaurants throughout Northern
Indiana.
She attended Fairhaven Baptist Church of Chesterton, IN and was a member of their Jolly 60's Club.
Memorial contributions may be made in Darlene's loving memory to the Fairhaven Baptist Church.
