By the 1880 Plat map the Hawks lands were contained tio the area below the cemetery (W. Shore Dr.) on the Tammarack road pn the west side till you got to Hawk Lake and they owned the property on both sides in that area. D. Hawk - 98 Acres F. Hawk - 60 Acres . D. Hawk 100 Acres.

By 1898 they had acquire land north of North of W. Shore Dr. on Main St. to the west of the town corporate limits up above Mill Street that had belonged to G. A. Durr , 76.67 Acres and M. G. Gould, 56.67 and it was divided down. D. Hawk - {30.76} Acres (a part of G. A. Durr , 76.67) D. Hawk - 24.60 Acres (a part of M. G. Gould, 56.67) E & M. E. Hawk - 42 Acres (a part of M. G. By 1908 the properties had been combined into 3 David Hawk 99.93 Acres - the area marked as incorporated was ONLY the EUB chruch property Edwin & Mary Hawk Est. 92 David Hawk 100 - bordering the West side of Hawk Lake, Little Maxinkuckee and other names it was called

1948 the properties were subdivied again into som smaller parcels John Hawk 93.81 - 95.73 Acres (a part of G. A. Durr , 76.67 and G. A. Durr , 76.67) A difference of 4.73 acres in 1922 and a difference of 1.92 acres making at total loss of 6.12 from 1908 acerage. Edwin Hawk 31.63 Acres ; 30. This is the area believed to be described in the parcels of land and the amount of property the Hawk families owned till this point in time. Starting in 1963 or before "outsiders" started buying the properties This property is bounded by Clover street on the north, runs along on the west of Main Street and the Tammarack; and 19th Road on the south and what is now new State Rd. 17 on the west for a total of 278 acres vy the 1968 plat map book. The family held on to this property from 1880 (if not before) til 1963 for a total of 83 years selling off very little; or giving up for road easements and owning 100 acres bordering Hawk Lake.

1995 Lawrence & Venice (Hawk) White 95a (Venice (Hawk) White [Mrs. Lawrence] 100 acres ) As early as 1992 they were selling off lots from the 100 acres that was left. And in 1996 the remainder of the prpoperty was parceled off and auctioned.
