Michael (Mike) Joseph Sheskey, age 73, passed away in Austin, Texas surrounded by family,
on Wednesday, February 19th, 2020 after a valiant struggle to recover from a 2018 bicycle
accident.
He is survived by his devoted wife of forty-seven years, Susan; son, Matthew (Lindsey);
granddaughter, Charlotte; siblings, Kathryn, Judith, Mary, and Roland; and twelve nieces
and nephews.
In death, Mike is reunited with his mother and father, Elizabeth and William Sheskey, and
his beloved son Michael.
Mike’s unwavering strength, courage, and commitment to family will remain an inspiration
to all who knew him.
Family and friends may call from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, February 22, at the
Weed-Corley- Fish Funeral Home, 3125 North Lamar Boulevard in Austin, Texas.

Michael Baldwin Sheskey, 13, of Austin, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 21, 1999, in Denver,
Colo.
He was a lover of life and a beloved son and brother. Michael was born to Susan and Mike
on June 10, 1985, in Arlington Heights, Ill.
He was a seventh-grade student at Hill Country Middle School in Westlake, Texas.
Michael is survived by his parents, Susan and Mike; his brother, Matthew; his grandparents,
Evelyn and Ed Baldwin of Monroe, Ohio; his aunt, Ella, and uncle, Steve Baldwin, of Cold Spring,
Ky.; his aunt, Cindy, and uncle, Jim Baldwin, of South Lyon, Mich.; his aunt, Kay, and uncle,
Dick Barrett, of San Antonio; his aunt, Judy, and uncle, Jim Parsons of Bartlesville, Okla.; his aunt,
Mary Sheskey of Hilliard, Ohio; his aunt, Rhonda, and uncle, Roland Sheskey, of Grove City,
Ohio; and numerous cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will be at 6:30 p.m. today, March 26, at Weed-Corley- Fish Funeral
Home, 3125 N. Lamar, Austin, Texas.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church, Austin, Texas. Burial will
follow at Austin Memorial Park.
