Life wasn’t easy providing for six kids including a special needs child. With a deep conviction and a strong
faith, he was great at overcoming obstacles and learning life lessons along the way.
There is an endless list of things that will be missed about Jerry; his infectious laugh, playful banter, his passion
for God and his country and desire to help those down on their luck to find hope and restore their faith. He
was like the seed that started a flourishing family tree. Through the years with loving care and attention his
family tree has grown. The Cox family tree is strong and can withstand any storm that tries to topple it.
