Allwyn B. Williamson, 90, of Gold Canyon, passed over on August 20, 2005 after a long battle with cancer.

He served in the European Theater of Operations as a major in the US Army Field Artillery.

Before retirement, he was a successful business leader from Valparaiso, Indiana.

Al is survived by his wife Margaret Ellen Call Williamson, his children Ann Brooke, Thomas Jeffrey, Margaret Susan; his grandchildren Jason Scott Williamson, Susan Danielle Harshfield, Timothy Michael Harshfield; and great-grandsons Chase Thomas Williamson, Aaron Brady Williamson, Jordan Harshfield and Jacob Harshfield.

A memorial service will be held at Transfiguration Episcopal Church, 514 S. Mountain Road, Mesa, AZ 85208 at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2005.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the church or to Odyssey Hospice.

Interment to be at the National Memorial Cemetery on Cave Creek Road at a later date.
