1923- Aug 8 - Plans are all completed for Culver's Chautauqua, which will begin tomorrow afternoon on the Osborn lot, east of The Citizen office Note the Citizen ofice was located at 108 E. Washington.

1928 - Sept 19 - Town buys lots at corner of Washington and Plymouth street as location for future town hall. NOTE it is interesting that some 39 years later they moved to the same location that they sold the lot sometime between 1928-1945 [the image is from the 1924 Sanbron map.

1945 - Oct 24 - Work has been started on the construction of a new building to house The Culver Citizen. The exterior will be of brick, while the interior will have a plaster finish throughout. Glass blocks and air conditioning will replace windows to keep the building at an even temperature
