Stephen Kirk McDaniel

Stephen Kirk McDaniel, 67, of Plymouth, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, at Catherine Kasper Home in Donaldson, Indiana.

Steve was born in Geneva, Illinois to Malcolm and Thelma (Strunk) McDaniel.

In 1978, Steve married Cynthia Randolph in Elmhurst, Illinois. They had two children, Matthew K. McDaniel (Alicia), and Mary E. Hyer (Daniel).

He worked as a Manufacturing Engineer for Miller Fluid Power in Bensenville, Illinois, prior to purchasing Culver Auto Supply in 1992, renaming it Lakeside Auto Supply. He owned the business until 2015, when he retired.

Steve enjoyed designing and fabricating custom projects for his customers in his machine shop. Steve is survived by his wife and children.

There will be a time of visitation with the family at the Culver Academies Memorial Chapel on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 4:00 p.m.
