William John Treichler, 82, of Naples, died Thursday, April 2, 1992.

Mr. Treichler had been a Naples resident since 1972 coming from Indianapolis, Ind.

He was a member of Capitol City Lodge No. 312 of Indianapolis, Ind., the Scottish Rite Valley of Fort Myers, the Araba Temple, Naples Shrine Club, Naples Kiwanis Club and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 1782.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 6, 1992 at 11:00 a.m. at the Earl G. Hodges Funeral Chapel with Dr. James Woomer of North Naples United Methodist Church, officiating

Entombment will follow at Naples Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Services for Mary Crites Treichler, 73. Naples, Fla., formerly of Indianapolis, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Earl G. Hodges Funeral Chapel, Naples, with calling from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.

She died Saturday in her Naples home.

She was a teacher for Shortridge High School here 32 years, retiring in 1970.

In World War II. she was assigned to Navy intelligence in the Pentagon as a naval lieutenant.

She graduated from Indiana State University, Indiana University and the University of Southern California.

She also was a member of the Indiana University Alumni Association.

Born in Worthington, Ind., she had lived in Indianapolis most of her life and in Naples 16 years.

Memorial contributions may be made to a local hospice unit.
