Walter J. Muehlhausen Dies At 68

Culver -Walter J. Muehlhausen Sr., 68, 606 Houghton St., a former Logansport resident, died at 2:25 a.m. Thursday at Parkview Hospital, Plymouth after suffering a heart attack at his home.

Born Jan. 28, 1907 in Chicago he was the son of Adam and Wanda Weisfuss Muehlhausen. He was married Jan. 28,1907 in Hartford City to Aldona Clutter who survives.

He was chairman of the board of the Midwest Spring Manufacturing Company in Mentone. He was a member of the Wesleyan United Methodist Church, Culver , Tipton Lodge Masons, Logansport and the Mizpah Shrine, Ft. Wayne.

Surviving with his wife are two sons, Walter J. Jr. of Neighborville, Ill. and Donald L. of Culver; a daughter, Susan Hohman, Spring Lake, Mich.; three brothers, R, H. of Hinsdale, 111.; Arthur M. of Oak Lawn, HI. and George F. of Yorktown Rd,, city and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2. p.m. Saturday at the Bonine funeral home in Culver . Private interment will be held at a later date. - Logansport Pharos-Tribune and Press Thursday, August 14, 1975

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Culver — Services for former Logansport resident Aldona R. Muehlhausen, 80, of 606 Houghton St., will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 3, in Wesley United Methodist Church.

She died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in her residence.

Born Sept 3 in Osawatomie, Kan., she was the daughter of Lamar and Blanche Abernathy Cutler. On June 2, 1933, in Hartford City, she was married to Walter J. Muehlhausen Sr., who died Aug. 14,1975.

Mrs. Muehlhausen had lived in Culver since 1952, coming from Logansport

A homemaker, she was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, and was a charger member of the Epsilon Nu Chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa sorority.

Surviving are one daughter, Susan J. Hohman, Spring Lake, Mich.; two sons, Walter J. Jr., Naperville, 111., and Donald L., Culver ; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Mark Day will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Goshen.
