Lots Number One (1) and Number Two (2) Cherry Villa Properties, a minor Subdivision located in west Quarter of Secection 21, Township 32 North, East. Town of Culver, County, Indiana.

This is the land that was known as Cherry Villa before the replat; on Willow Point. The Cherry Villa History can be found here.

Before subdivision or replatting began this property was described as:

DESC: N 2/3 LOT 1 E OF RR EX [Point & house]
DESC: PRT W1/2 NW DESC:W1/4 COR E 1030.15'

There was an earlier attempt in 2010 at replatting into 2 lots and it was offered for sale as such for at least one year if not longer. This is a drawing that appeared in the Real Estate magazine for Marshall County Area. It was listed as as 0000 Cherry Villa, TBA (to be announced)

The descripton was to be:

Commencing at a mag nail at the Southwest corner of Lot No. 9 in Cromley's Addition to the Town of Culver; thence South o degrees 18'53" East, 16.39 feet to a P.K. nail on the North line of Mill Street a distance of 153.66 feet to a 5/8" iron rod on the Westerly line of the former Vandalia Railroad and the point of begininning of the discription; thence continuing North 89 Degrees 24'37" East 168.89 feet to the shoreline: of Lake Maxinkuckee; thence for the following eight (8) courses along said shoreline:

• 1) Southerly 24.93 feet along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 40.00 feet and a chord bearing and distance of South 29 Degrees 36"23" East 24.52 feet;
• 2) South 11 Degrees 45'1'7" East, 32.93 feet;
• 3) South 19 Degrees 39'51" East 24.12 feet;
• 4) South 33 degrees 39'23" East, 9.46 feet;
• 5) South 45 Degrees 58'20" East 47.64 feet;
• 6) South 45 Degrees 04;07" east 58.78 feet;
• 7) Southerly 54.33 feet along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 42.50 feet and a cord distance and distance of South 8 Dgeereees 26'46" East 50.71 feet;
• 8) South 28 Degrees 10'36" West, 64.54 feet;
thence North 76 Degrees 34'37" west 157.78 feet to a 3/4" iron pipe on the Easterly line of said former railroad right-of-way; thence South 86 Degrees 20'09" West, 99.00 feet to a 5/8 iron rod on said former Westerly railroad right-of-way; thence Northerly 233.75 along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 1959.50 feet and a chord bearing and distance of North 0, Degrees 21'38" West 233.61 feet to the point of beginning, containing one and thirty-one hundreths of an acre, subject to all easements, right-of-ways and restrictions of record.

It was finally divided down and replated into two lots as follows:

LOT 1 REPLAT OF CHERRY VILLA PROPERTIES - - 209 E Mill St. Lot Number One (1) in the Replat of Cherry Villa Properties, a Minor Subdivision located in the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4), of Section 28, Township 32 North, Range 1 East, in the Town of Culver, Marshall county, Indiana

LOT 2 REPLAT OF CHERRY VILLA PROPERTIES - 211 E Mill St.

LOT 3 REPLAT OF CHERRY VILLA PROPERTIES - 213 E Mill Street

This ithe original house on "Willow Point" that became known as Cherry Villa.
