Barbara A. Reese  

Barbara A. Reese, 87 of Indianapolis passed away on April 27, 2015.

She was born in Linton IN on August 16, 1927 to Kenneth and Dorothy Hannum.

Barbara graduated from Stephens College in Columbia MO and Indiana University with a degree in education. While at Indiana University she was a member of Delta Gamma sorority.

She was also a member of the Indianapolis Children's Museum, Tri Kappa and the Sunnyside guild.

She volunteered her time at St Vincent Hospital.

Barbara was a long time member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Indianapolis where she served on the vestry and the alter guild.

Barbara enjoyed spending summers with her family and friends at their cottage on Lake Maxinkuckee.

She was an avid IU football and basketball fan.

Barbara was proceeded in death by her husband of 41 years, Keith C Reese and is survived by her two children, Cheryl A. Reese (W. Dennis) Howell; son, K.C. (Pat) Reese; and her beloved five grandchildren; Elizabeth Howell, Julia Howell, Hilary White, Gretchen White and Hannah Reese.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with a memorial service to be held at 11:00 a.m.
