Charles McLane Dies IN Hospital At Age of 74

Charles G. McLane, 74, 330 College Ave, Culver, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec 19, at Marshall county Parkview Hospital, Plymouth, of pulmonary embolus, after an illness of three months.

Mr. McLane was norn April 8, 1888, in Miami county to Frank and Rohda McLane.

A resident of the Culver community most of his life he was an employee of Culver Military Academy for 31 years.

His wife, Minnie whom he marred Nov 4, 1919, survives. He was a member of the Culver Methodoist Church.

Surviving with his widow are two daughters, Mrs. Robert Linvall of Culver and Mrs. Ann Harris of Shelbyville; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Preceeding him in death were a son, Charles Jr.; two sisters Eva and Mrs. Pearl Keen and a brother, Philip.

FUneral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Culver Methodist Church with Ronald C. Williams officiating.

Interment was in the Masonic cemetery at Culver.

The VanGilder Funeral Home, 104 Lalke Shore Drive Culver was in charge of arrangements.
